# The Shepherd's Heart: Finding the Love That Was Always There ## The Session's Focus The client came into this session carrying real pain from her marriage — her spouse's extramarital affair had brought her deep humiliation and hardship. Through that difficult chapter, a handful of people had stood by her with unwavering support, and she wanted to understand who they truly were. She also carried a close, tender bond with her father, who had since passed away, and hoped to reconnect with that connection during the session. ## Dropping into Trance Being a highly visual person, the client moved into deep trance almost immediately. ## The Past Life: A Shepherd on the Mountain The first scene that emerged was of a shepherd, high on a mountainside, searching for a goat that had wandered off and gotten lost. When we moved him forward to his home, his wife was there — waiting, and upset, because he was impotent and unable to give her children. (This soul, we would later recognize, is her current-life husband.) Moving further ahead, the scene shifted to his father's cremation — the same soul as her father in this current life. He felt profound sadness and loneliness in that moment, made heavier by the fact that his wife had already left him by then. The friends who had stood so closely by him through that life were the very same souls who support her now. Nothing dramatic marked these years; it was, by all appearances, an uneventful life. But as we moved forward in time, a deeply touching scene emerged: in the final moments of that life, she was cared for by her guru — the very same soul who guides her in her current life. He stayed by her side through her last breaths and later carried out the cremation rites himself, a quiet thread of devotion connecting these two lives across time. ## The Second Life: A Sudden End In the next lifetime she visited, she saw herself traveling somewhere by train — and then, in a single unexplained moment, she made the decision to jump. The scene was brief, but it left an imprint: an abrupt, unresolved ending that seemed to echo forward into other parts of her story. ## The Third Life: A Princess Who Loved to Dance The third life brought her into the role of a young princess with a deep love of dance. It was her passion, the thing that made her feel most alive — but the man she was betrothed to (recognized as her current-life husband) disapproved and wanted her to give it up. Eventually, his disapproval turned violent, and he ended her life with a sword to her lower abdomen. ## Meeting the Subconscious When the Subconscious (SC) was brought in, its message was clear and direct: this client needs to learn to follow her passion, and to give real value to her own likes and dislikes — rather than setting them aside for others. ## The Healing Work With the SC's guidance, a full body scan was performed. Several crystals were found and cleared from her uterus — the source of pain she had been carrying — echoing the wound from her life as a princess. Her throat and sinuses were cleared next, and almost immediately she began to sneeze, a physical sign that something was releasing. The SC then moved to her heart, clearing and balancing that space as well.
